It sits on the sound and has access to swimming, paddleboard, or kayak from the campground. The sound is 1-2 feet so the kids can net fish or just play. Pro-tips: Bring water Shoes and get your permit to drive on the beach access is only 2 miles away! Located in great proximity to Traverse City, MI. This campground has great family events that include kids dodgeball games at night. There is a pool, bounce pad, trails, and even a man made lake with toys! Max’s absolute favorite! Pro-Tips: so much to do in the area make an adventure schedule that allows time to enjoy the campground amenities! Devils BackBone: Located in Afton, VA. This is part of the Nelson 151 brewery trail. Crab Tree falls is 25 minutes away. You can have a weekend filled with hiking and exploring local breweries! Local favorites are Devils Backbone, Bold Rock Cider, and Blue Mountain. Pro Tip: Go to the furthest brewery first (tours are available in the area) and finish at Devils backbone since you can walk and get great food at the Brewpub! Cape Charles KOA: Located in Cape Charles Virginia this camp ground has a private beach, bounce pad, great pool, a good restaurant (great drinks!), and beautiful sunsets! You are 15 minutes away from downtown Cape Charles. You can enjoy great ice cream and a charming brewery. Pro-tips: Rent a golf cart for easy access to the bounce pad. Located in Verona, VA this campground sits on the Middle River. The campground has wild bunnies everywhere, river tubing in the campground, and hot tubs! You tube down the river to a beautiful waterfall. It is a must have in the Shenandoah Valley! Pro-tips: Bring water shoes and plenty of bunny food!
